Name: Masha and the Bear Russian Cafe

Address: 12101 E Iliff Ave, Aurora, CO 80014

My favs: Blini, Pelimeni, Stroganoff

Hungry for Authentic Russian Food? Visit Masha and The Bear! This cozy place has a lot of tasty Russian snacks and traditional dishes. On the menu, you can find borscht, blini, and pelmeni. Delicious desserts include blini and honey cake. Enrich your experience with Russian coffee and tea.

Highlights: Russian-speaking staff, homemade dishes.

Best Russian Bar

Name: Red Square Bistro

Address: 1512 Larimer Street, Denver, CO 80202

My favs: Bloody Marry, pelmeni, appetizers

Do you want to experience refined cuisine and get a feel of good old Soviet times? Visit the Red Square Bistro! This gem has a beautiful mural picturing The Beatles song “Back to USSR,” which makes you want to hum the tune. This place has a full restaurant and bar. Red Square has two sections and can be a great place for a date as well as a latenight hangout spot. The menu has delicious appetizers and great mixed drinks.

Highlights: Open late. Outdoors and indoors sitting. The best season to visit is summer.

Best Russian Coffee Shop

Name: Dazbog Coffee

Address: all-around Denver

My favs: vanilla latte, muffins

Are you familiar with this brand? Two Russians found the company! The name translates as “god gives”. Dazbog Coffee chain has fun colors and Russian phrases incorporated in their design. This delicious coffee is a popular item in local Russian restaurants and cafes. Start your morning with some Russian Coffee!

Highlights: high-quality coffee, open early.

Best Russian Store

Name: M&I International Market

Address: 909 S Oneida St, Denver, CO 80224

My favs: Oven fresh rye bread, Russian pastries

If you want to experience a Russian store of the 1990s, visit MNI. Its Russian-speaking team of cooks, cashiers, and management makes you feel like you traveled back in time. This place has ingredients for any Russian dish, frozen food, and desserts. M&I has an oven in the back. Every Saturday, they bake rye bread. If you visit the place around 10 am, you can pick up a hot loaf of bread straight from the oven.

Highlights: friendly stuff, fresh Chebureki (meat pies) every morning.
