DAY 4 : RUSSIAN NUMBERS
You would use numbers to take someone's phone number, get an address, find your hotel room and find the right bus. Warning! Don't try to use them to count nouns yet. Russian numbers 1 & 2 have a gender and two cars (f) will sound different from two busses (m). Good news is: we have cardinal and ordinal numbers the same way you do in English.
Russian Numbers From 0 to 9
English 3 - [three] and Russian 3 -[tree] sound almost the same. 0 - [nol'] is a distant cousin of English "null". Good luck with the rest!
1 - один (m) - [o-din] - one
2 - два (m) - [d-va] - two
3 - три - [tree] - tree
4 - четыре - [che-ti-r-ye] - four
5 - пять - [p-ya-t'] - five
6 - шесть - [sheh-s-t'] - six
7 - семь - [sem'] - seven
8 - восемь - [vosem'] - eight
9 - девять - [d-ye-v-ya-t'] - nine
0 - ноль - [no-l'] - zero
Phrases with new vocabulary
If you need a bus (m) number {#}, for masculine nouns you need to say:
Мне нужен автобус номер {#}.
If you need a room (f) number {#}, for feminine nouns you need to say:
Мне нужна комната номер {#}.
Feminine nouns usually end with “a”
If you want to ask where is a bus {#}. You need to say:
Где тут автобус номер {#}.
If you want to tell someone your phone number, you need to say:
Мой номер это {#...}.

For those of you who are brave enough to ask that attractive Russian for a phone number. Here are some useful phrases.
1 - Какой твой номер? - [kakoii tvoii no-mer] - What is your number?
2 - Дайте мне свой номер. - [Dai-tye mnye svoi nomer] - Could your give me your number?
3 - Какой у вас номер телефона? - [kakoii oo vas nomer tele-fo-na] - What is your phone number?
4 - Позвони мне. - [pozvo-ni nmye] - Call me.
